What is Pilates?
"Pilates is a form of exercise, developed by Joseph Pilates, which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement." (about.com)

Pilates has been used for years in the dance community as a tool to enhance core strength and flexibility, while also building and maintaining long lean muscels.  Any BODY can do Pilates, and everybody should.
Once you have the core awareness, flexibility and balance that Pilates brings, you will notice how your daily movement and health are improved.  Pair it with the workout you are already doing and see how much better it gets!
